How Do I Know If I Need a Podcast Coach?
We’ve been approached by people who have completed multiple seasons of a show and people who have “just always wanted to start a podcast.” In general, the people who sign up for podcast coaching say one of three things.
I want to start a podcast, but I don’t know how.
The Pain Point: You’re a dreamer who wants to become a doer. You listen to podcasts on your commute and in the kitchen. Heck, maybe you even sneak in an episode during work. Now you have an idea for a show of your own. The only problem is, you’re not sure what equipment you need to get started, what podcast editing software you should use, and where to put your podcast when it’s edited and ready to go.
Our Approach: We meet you where you’re at. If you want us to guide you through which microphone has the best audio capture for the best budget, we can do that. If you need us to stay on the line while you upload your first show, we’ll be there. If you run into a technical issue while recording, give us a call so we can troubleshoot.
We’re here to be whatever support you need. If you find you need more help, you can also try our monthly podcast editing services.
I have a million podcast ideas - where do I start?
The Pain Point: You’re an enthusiast who’s bursting with creative energy. You have anywhere from 6 to 260 ideas and need help honing in on the theme of your podcast.
Our Approach: Our brainstorming document and content calendar are useful podcast tools that we use with clients who have big visions and need to implement some focus and create clear next steps.
I have a podcast, but I’m in a rut and don’t know what to do.
The Pain Point: You know what you’re doing, but somewhere along the way you ran out of ideas or feel like your episodes have gotten stale. Or maybe your team has changed and you’re looking to fill in a gap.
Our Approach: We can serve as technical support for your podcast or as a creative partner who helps with idea generation.

Our podcast coach will guide you through which microphones to use, what headphones are best, where to get a cable splitter and more.
Hosting is a technical term for storing and distributing your podcast. Apple Podcasts, Podbean, and others are all host podcasts. We can show you where and how to set up your podcast hosting.
Choosing the right intro/outro music for your podcast sets the tone for your show. During our coaching sessions, we’ll introduce you to free and paid music options for your podcast.
